Project Description:
Passed down family recipes hold stories, culture, and connection. They form a large part of our identity, carrying memories of significant people and moments in our lives. Heimat is an on-line platform and print service allowing individuals of diverse backgrounds to document, share, and honor their distinct culinary traditions, fostering connection and discovery. Together we can cultivate a community through food, celebrating each individual's story and developing a newfound understanding of it's impact on our identity.
Use of AI:
I utilized Chat GPT to rewrite the content given to me by users for a smoother reading experience. I also utilized AI image retouching to enhance the quality of the photos submitted by users that were weathered and difficult to decipher. Overall, AI enhances the user experience of my website, making a collaborative space seamless and easy to use.
